The conference takes places from July 2nd to 4th, 2013 in Dar es Salaam under the theme “Sharing achievements made and lessons learned”. The conference will bring together organic stakeholders to share experiences learned since the launch of the East African Organic Products Standards six years ago.
Udo Censkowsky, Organic Services and its network partner Albert Altena, MD of Aquatic Blue – Consultancy for sustainable and organic aquaculture will present the results of their study on the potential of organic aquaculture in East Africa in a workshop on July 4th, 09:00-12:30. The project is part of the Organic Standards in East Africa Programme (OSEA II) and includes Burundi, Kenya, Ruanda, Tanzania and Uganda.
