Organic fruits from Colombia

Organic Services supports Colombian companies and producer associations to enter the export market for organic fresh (exotic) fruits on behalf of OSEC, Switzerland and Proexport, Colombia.

In May 2011, Jörn Berger, Organic Services Project Manager, analysed five different exotic fruit value chains. In cooperation with local stakeholders, he developed concepts for conversion to organic farming and worked out measurements for improvement. The results will be compiled and made available in Colombia to support others interested in conversion to organic.
