At 2008 India Organic Congress Organic Services assisted in recruiting speakers and in giving two presentations: one on recent European market trends and a second on international developments and trends of natural and organic cosmetics. In addition one session was chaired by Gerald A. Herrmann.

Apart from its Congress involvement Organic Services assisted ICCOA in the organisation of trade participants (acquisition of buyers from US and Europe) being instrumental for further developing India’s export perspectives.

During all days of the trade fair Gerald A. Herrmann trained interested farmer groups and companies in ‘what does it need to enter overseas markets’.

During India Organic Trade Fair Nürnberg Global Fairs and Indo-German Chamber of Commerce launched ‘BioFach India’ to be held in April 2009. An agreement was signed between NürnbergMesse / Nürnberg Global Fairs and ICCOA to equally support each others fairs. The President of ICCOA, Mr. Mukesh Gupta underlined in his speech at the launch event that BioFach can count on his full personal as well as on the institutional support of ICCOA to make BioFach India 2009 a success.
