1.Customer Relationship Management (CRM) - organize your communication

Whether it is writing single or mass mailings (with Word), taking notes of phone calls, identi-fying incoming emails or scanning snail mail – all communications can be organized by CRM in e-Cert. Enter a contact name and the full communication picture – internal as well as ex-ternal – is displayed. At a glance it is possible to see who was involved, what was negotiated and the final outcome.

2. Use the web as your data platform

Statistics and data analyses are of most value when the information being used is up-to-date. The question, “how many clients are currently certified?” is easily answered if all the data is up-to-date and prepared for reporting. Internet technology makes it simple to involve people at all levels, whether they are collecting data from clients, working in regional offices or are external staff. The technology e-Cert’s makes available brings great benefits in data management.

3. Follow a single batch through the chain of custody with e-CertTM in combination with FlowWebTM

Market volumes are increasing, and the requirements regarding control are increasing as well! Do you control volumes of certified products? When e-CertTM is used in combination with FlowWebTM all tracing and tracking is done – not by managing tons of paper – but with a mouse click. Fraud destroys credibility and all the money that was invested in establishing reliable labels or brands. e-CertTM and FlowWebTM are both a safeguard for that investment!

4. Time control for management and fast invoicing

Every organization has to plan the use of its resources. Planning is good but worthless with-out control. e-Cert makes it possible to see how much time was spent on a specific project or event, and issue invoices according to that time.

5. e-Cert - best choice, best offer

e-Cert’s functionality is continuously growing as it responds to numerous specific needs that differ from client to client and from country to country. In order to meet the low budgets of small and medium sized certification bodies, e-Cert recently launched an additional e-Cert licence model that is based on the number of workstations operating with e-Cert.
The simplest, and cheapest modal is for a licence to use e-Cert on a single workstation. Even in this case, several people can work on it using different logins (but not at the same time). This assures that the electronic workflow can be fully applied. Additional user licences can be booked at any time. Limiting the system to a smaller number of users dramatically reduces the licence fee, making e-Cert is affordable to very small certification and inspection bodies.

The recommended starting setup includes a full electronic workflow that can handle

  • management of master data (people, livestock, fields and products)
  • inspection
  • certification
  • guideline designer
  • electronic workflow (predefined checkpoints, deviations, sanctions and deadlines)
  • correspondence

Additional costs, such as those necessary for training and customizing, can also be kept to a minimum. e-Cert comes with a 2-day training session that includes customizing the reports, checklists etc. to the needs of the CB. To reduce work on customizing, standard settings, such as standard trees for livestock, crops and products, and standard checklists and reports can be integrated into e-Cert. To further reduce the on-site – and expensive – time of our IT people, online training courses are offered.
In addition to the single workstation licence a similar package is offered for three or more workstations.

A three workstation licence, similar to the single workstation licence, is also offered.

6. Time to get prepared for BioFach, February 15th - 18th 2007, Nuremberg, Germany

e-Cert sales team will be providing access to life systems at BioFach in Nuremberg. If you wish to arrange a personal meeting please make a reservation indicating your preferred day, time and
place (at your booth, at our booth (hall 1, booth 160i) or wherever).
Don’t miss e-Cert presentation on Friday, 1 p.m. at room Prague in the Congress Center
As in the last years we offer also this year a one hour presentation in the congress programme. Three of our clients will present short papers about their strategies and advantages using e-Cert as their management tool for certification (this session will be in English only)
